Q. Is the restoration possible only for the XXXX College root level (at 270 TB)?
A. The snapshots occur at the root level but the files and folders can be accessed individually from those snapshots.
Q. Can the “Previous Versions” tool be used to recover all kinds of lost files/folders?
A. No, the “Previous Versions” method of restoring the files is only available for data from the snapshots stored on the Isilon.
Q. If a user’s Rstor share is irretrievable from the primary system, can the replica backup be used to recover the lost data?
A. Yes, the replica backups can be used to restore the lost data in the RStor share if it’s irretrievable.
