Accessing Your Secure Enclave Environment
An Email will be
sent to project members detailing how to access their project environment in
the Secure Enclave - once the environment is setup.
The Email will also include guides on setting up RDP, a pre-configured RDP profile specific for the project environment, and instructions on how to upload and download files in the Secure Enclave. The RDP and File Download Guides are attached to this article. Separate articles for these topics will also be created for those individual topics.
Below is an example
of the template UCSD uses in their Account Activation Email:

Good afternoon, Colorado State University.
We have your accounts created for you to access the <Your Project Name>. There are a few more steps to finish account activation before you can access this project environment, these are listed below:
Usernames for accessing your project in the UC Cloud Enclave:
MFT Port: <Project Specific>
MFT Server Name: ucce-mft.sdsc.edu
1. Duo Federal Activation: Please ensure you have the Duo app downloaded on your mobile device. You will be receiving a Duo Federal Activation email to your mobile device. This activation link will be valid for the next 24 hours. Please proceed with activation. Please also ensure you have ‘Push’ notifications enabled for the Duo app on your mobile device.
2. Create a UC Cloud Enclave Password: Once you’ve activated your Duo Federal account you will then need to set-up your complex password, which you will use with Duo Federal to access your UC Cloud Enclave (UCCE) CSU project environment. Please navigate to the Self-Service Password reset tool: https://passwordreset.activedirectory.windowsazure.us/ enter in your username and follow prompts to establish a UCCE password.
- Your username for password reset purposes is <username>@trident.ucsd.edu
3. Save attached RDP File: Once you’ve successfully set-up both Duo Federal and your UCCE password, attached is the RDP file you will need to download and have on your local machine, this is what you will use to access the system.
