How to Set Up Outlook and Microsoft Teams on your Personal Devices

Install and use Outlook and Microsoft Teams directly on your personal devices without needing to connect to CSU with Pulse Secure

Log into Microsoft applications by formatting your username like: eID@colostate.edu

You do not need to connect to CSU with Pulse Secure to use Outlook or Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Office 365

Download Microsoft Office 365 and install it on your home computer/laptop (you are able to install Office on up to 5 devices):

Log into the web portal: https://portal.office.com/account/?ref=MeControl
Format your username like: eID@colostate.edu
Click the Install Office button to download the setup file
Run the downloaded setup file which should appear at the bottom of the browser window
After the installation completes, search for Outlook on the Start menu
Run Outlook and log into it formatting your username like: eID@colostate.edu
Give Outlook plenty of time to download a copy of your entire mailbox

Download Microsoft Teams and install it on your home computer/laptop:

Download Microsoft Teams from: https://teams.microsoft.com/downloads
Click the Download Teams button to download the setup file
Run the downloaded setup file which should appear at the bottom of the browser window
After the installation completes, search for Teams on the Start menu
Run Teams and log into it formatting your username like: eID@colostate.edu

Download Microsoft Teams and install it on your smartphone:

Search the Store for the Microsoft Teams version that will run on your smartphone
Install Teams
Run Teams and log into it formatting your username like: eID@colostate.edu
