Use this article when you are having connection problems with CSU Wifi, or you have recently changed your NetID password.
Note that this process will likely need to be done every time you change your NetID password.
Step-by-step guide
If you try this process and your laptop still won't connect to the Wifi, try doing steps 1 and 2 again, then restarting the computer, then resuming at step 3.
-
Click the Wifi icon in the bottom right area of the taskbar. (It may be hidden behind the ^):
-

-
Right click the csu-net network and click Forget:
- If you dont see csu-net, or are unable to forget the network, click the Network and Internet settings link pictured in the screenshot above. Then navigate to the Wifi Tab in the left sidebar > Manage Known Networks link and forget the network from that location (screenshot in 2c):
-

-

-
After the network has been forgotten, click the csu-net network again. Do not select csu-guest. After you've selected csu-net, make sure the Connect Automatically checkbox is checked, and click Connect:

-

-
For the username, enter your NetID. Use your NetID password for the password, then click OK.
-

-
If prompted, click Connect:
-

- You will now be connected to the csu-net wifi network.
