At this time, non-CSU attendees cannot view recorded meetings in Microsoft Stream. Previous recordings can be downloaded from Stream and posted on YouTube or otherwise distributed if necessary in order for non-CSU attendees to view the meeting recording.
NOTE: All Teams recordings are stored in OneDrive of whoever started the recording. Download the recording and upload to a Team to have it be saved indefinitely and to make it easier to share with other individuals.
How to start a recording on a meeting
- Start or Join a meeting.
-
To start the recording, go to the bar near the bottom of the screen (Meeting Controls) and select More options
> Start recording.

-
To stop recording, go to the meeting controls and select More options
> Stop recording.

-
The recording is then processed (which could take awhile) and saved to Microsoft Stream, and then it's ready to play.
-
The person who started the recording receives an email from Microsoft Stream when the recording is available. It also shows up in the meeting chat—or in the channel, if you’re meeting in a channel.
